Introduction to the 4th Edition of The Concrete Society Technical Report 34

All day Seminar with Exhibition

Thursday, 10 April 2014: 9.00am – 4.00 pm (Lunch inc)

Venue: The Lorimer Suite, Elland Road, Leeds

The newly published 4th edition of TR34 supersedes the 3rd edition published in 2003. It brings TR34 in line with the latest Eurocodes and Standards. In drafting the 4th edition, the opportunity was taken to completely review and update the structural design procedures for ground-supported and pile-supported floors. Also included in the 4th edition are changes to floor flatness specifications reflecting European standards, as well as a greater emphasis on floor maintenance.

The seminar speakers include people involved with drafting of the 4th edition. As with previous editions, the 4th will become the 'standard' guidance document for industrial ground floors.
